Cincinnati: Spring Restaurant Week is March 12-21

Greater Cincinnati Independent restaurants will present their annual Spring Restaurant Week March 12-21. Each year during this event, local eateries offer diners special deals on a sampling menu. If you've been wanting to check out some new (or classic) area restaurants, this is the perfect chance to taste lots of dishes without dropping major cash.




Go here for a full list of participating restaurants and the courses offered.  Each restaurant offers a three-course tasting menu for $26.12. 






For example, here is Prima Vista's three course offerings:



Appetizers
  
Fresh Mozzarella with grilled bell peppers, oregano and capers
Pasta e Fagioli- Bean soup with bacon and ditale pasta
Fried Cheese Ravioli with eggplant and tomato caponata
Potato gnocchi Mushrooms, leeks, white truffle oil, parmesan


Salads
Caesar – Romaine tossed with creamy garlic and anchovy dressing, croutons and parmesan
Casa Mista- Red leaf, radicchio, Bibb and escarole tossed with Italian vinaigrette 
Arugula with balsamic and extra virgin olive oil, gorgonzola and pineapple, proscuitto 


Entrées
Cheese Ravioli with Italian sausage, mushrooms and tomato basil sauce
Sautéed veal medallion, leeks, mushrooms, pancetta cream sauce, toasted garlic crostini
Sautéed shrimp with artichoke, arugula, garlic butter sauce and fettucine
Grilled pork rib chop with gorgonzola, walnuts, dried figs
Penne pasta tossed with portabellas, roasted tomatoes, gorgonzola and scallion
