Christmas Shopping- Yes, in July...

Yes, it is only July, but yes, we have begun to think about Christmas in our house.  Why?  We buy a lot of Christmas presents on websites with sales/discounts.  Let's be honest, a lot of these websites have SLOOOOW shipping.  Like 6-8 weeks.  I guess that's the price you pay for a good deal.  If you wait until too close to Christmas, you won't get your presents in time.  Last year we bought most of our boys' presents far in advance and from discount websites (mostly from Woot).  Here are a list of the sites we use the most:

DIY Book Shelves...Made Out of Gutters!

My friend Kelly and her husband Jon made these AWESOME book shelves in their son's room.  They are made out of gutters.  They are so cute and sounds like they weren't hard to make.  Instead of just pinning things on Pinterest and sharing the ideas with people (like me)...Kelly actually creates/makes a lot of the projects.  I have a feeling I will be posting many more of her project on here!

*Tip from Kelly and Jon: Use vinyl gutters.  They used aluminum gutters and said they wish they would have used vinyl ones. Vinyl ones are cheaper and easier to work with.
